Ever since I announced that I would be moving back to the Midwest, there has been a lot of concern about what would become of Cosmic Capes Comics. I very much appreciate the loyalty and support you all have given me and my store! As many of you know, I have been attempting to sell the store so that it could remain open and continue to be your Local Comic Book Store. In the past few weeks, a group came forward to purchase CCC. I am confident that the sale will go through.

However, the lease is up on my current location, and we (the buyers, the management company for my building, and me) were not able to come to terms on a short extension on the lease. So, Cosmic Capes Comics, in its current location, will close at the end of this week. Saturday, August 3rd, will be our last day at this location. We will pack up everything to move to an as-yet-unidentified location. Cosmic Capes Comics will live again!

The new owners are committed to running CCC the way I have. Namely, with friendly customer service and a diversity of comics offered a fair price. In the short term, I have closed on-line ordering. For those of you with open orders, they will continue to be processed and sent out.

The physical store will remain open this week. Please come in, pick up some last-minute items, and say goodbye. Thank you all for what has been a great experience!
